Sherman Tank

M4 Sherman Tank
The BMC #49990 Sherman tank was introduced in 2000 and is modeled after the World War M4. The Sherman tank was in service from 1942 to 1955. While it was hardly capable of taking on the deadly German tanks during WWII, it's numerical superiority, modifications and mechanical reliability on the battlefields proved that it was an effective tool in winning the war despite it's many shortcomings.
T
his 1/32 scale replica of the Sherman uses tooling adapted from the King & Country IWJ011 version and measures in at 7¾"L x "3½"W x 4"H. It's only feature is a 360ยบ revolving turret. There are no wheels or add-on machine guns. It is, however, cast in a very durable matte textured green plastic and is the perfect scale for most toy soldiers. The Sherman tank is sold either individually or as part of the Iwo Jima playset. A custom painted camouflaged version with decals was also available in limited quantities.
